Islamic Academy of Delaware is inviting interested applicants to forward their resumes to the school administration/ Operations Committee in the following areas:

Administrative Assistant:

Applicant must:

·         be proficient in written and spoken English

·         be able to work independently

·         have excellent communication skills

·         have extensive knowledge in Microsoft office

·         have prior working experience in data entry and record filing and keeping

A bachelor’s degree preferred.

Full Time Teachers (All Subjects/ All grades PK -8):

Applicant must:

·         have a minimum of a bachelor degree in the field from a US university

·         prior teaching experience in a full time school classroom setting

·         have ability to effect child/student management procedures

Arabic Language Teacher:

Applicant must:

·         have a minimum of a bachelor degree in Arabic language or literature

·         have prior teaching experience in a full time school classroom setting

·         speak and write English fluently

Quran Teacher:

Applicant must:

·         memorize a substantial portion of the Holy Quran

·         be able to recite the Holy Quran properly and according to Tajweed rules

·         have prior teaching experience of the Holy Quran

·         speak and write English fluently
