An-Noor Academy, Piscataway, NJ, seeks a skilled instructional leader to assume the position of Assistant Principal of Middle and High School. The Assistant Principal will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the educational program within the Middle and High school.

An-Noor Academy is a vibrant educational institution of academic and character learning, established in 2000. The school serves about 400 students from Pre-School to 12th grade and is well positioned to grow further.
Provide curricular and instructional leadership in the development, implementation, coordination, and assessment of academic programs to improve studentachievement.
Coordinate with Principal and other instructional leaders to support teachers’ instruction through observing, modeling and providing feedback.
Reviews teachers’ lesson plans for quality and rigor.
Communicate school policies relating to student behavior to students and parents.
Provide supervision for after school program and other special activities as necessary.
Use building management skills to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment for staff and students.
Collect, share, and analyze data to determine strengths and needs within the school. Data will include student data, other instructional data, student subgroup data, discipline data, and attendance data.
Supervise, evaluate, and provide feedback for teachers, support staff and students that focuses on instructional and behavioral strategies to improve and/or enhance students' performance.
Plan and provide professional learning that promotes school growth, based on identified needs.
Develop teacher and staff capacity to cultivate and sustain meaningful partnerships with families of diverse backgrounds and with community members that support student achievement and student well-being.
Provide academic and behavioral support programs for at-risk students.
Researchandremainawareofcurrenteducationtrendsastheyaffecttheschoolandplanand prepare the school to effectively change and adapt asneeded.
Oversee the administration of all academic standardized tests andfollowupasnecessaryconcerningthoseresultsandtheiranalysis.
Master’s Degree (or higher) in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, or an academicdiscipline.
Successful completion of certification in Administration/Supervision, Educational Leadership, or School Principal(Preferred).
At least five years of demonstrated, successful experience as a teacher at the Middle School/High Schoollevel.
At least two years of demonstrated, successful leadership experience with a concentration in administration, supervision, curriculum, finance, and personnel management, as Principal or Assistant Principal at the Middle School/High Schoollevel.
Experience working in Islamic School(Preferred).
Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Preference will be given those candidates who have Math/Science background as well as administrative experience.
