The Administrative Assistant manages the day-to-day administrative functioning of the office. Responsibilities include:
Starting up and maintaining member databases, spreadsheets, and donor files;
Creating acknowledgments letters for all financial donors/members;
Executing mail and email fundraising campaigns;
Taking minutes at meetings/conference calls and distributing in timely fashion
Researching potential members in the halal industry;
Providing information to prospective donors and others via mail, phone and email;
Assisting with and attending special events,meetings, workshops and shows;
Assistance with Halalconnect distribution, the AHA Publication
Managing office resources including computer, phone system, and files;
Preparing invoices and deposits
Retrieving mail from AHA account;
Researching online news and current events of the halal industry
Completing other development and administrative tasks as determined by Ahmad Adam and staff
Qualifications: Bachelor degree; at least two years work experience in non-profit, excellent written, verbal and organizational skills; strong attention to detail; exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work independently; strong computer skills as well as MS Excel and Word. Call Asma
