Job Description

The Renaissance Academy Director of Education (DoE) will direct and shape the curricula and teaching processes in the school. The DoE will work closely with the principal and executive management to come up with the most appropriate curricula to meet the needs of their students.  The DoE will focus on Renaissance Academy’s mission to strive for Academic Excellence.

Role and Responsibilities

• Student Counseling
• Staff Training and Development
• Testing Administration & Management 
• Curriculum Development & Alignment
• Managment and coordination of Competitions and Extracurricular Activities

Minimum qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in education, business or a related field.  Master’s degree preferred
• 3 years of successful teaching experience
• 5 years of hands-on school operations and leadership experience
• Thrives in a start-up environment and able to generate enthusiasm and support among partners for the mission of the organization
• Demonstrated leadership skills

Salary and Benefits

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.   Renaissance offers a benefits package that includes health insurance, staff tuition discount, sick leave and annual vacation.
